Julie Potesa
BFA
Julie Potesta serves as Director of Education & Programs, where she designs and facilitates experiential learning initiatives, workshops, and community offerings that center rhythm, presence, and embodied learning. Her work focuses on creating well-structured, accessible programs that support connection, creativity, and group engagement within a grounded, non-clinical framework.
Julie holds a BFA in Acting & Directing, a background that informs her approach to curriculum design, group facilitation, and program flow. Her training supports her ability to guide groups with clarity, attunement, and thoughtful pacing—helping participants feel oriented, engaged, and supported in shared learning environments.
She is also a certified Reiki practitioner and RYT-200 yoga instructor. These trainings inform her sensitivity to embodiment, attention, and nervous system awareness, and shape how she holds space in educational and ritual-based settings.
In addition to educational programming, Julie co-facilitates music foundations weekends and cacao ceremonies as experiential, educational, and ritual-based offerings. These experiences explore rhythm, voice, listening, and intention-setting as tools for creative expression and community connection. They are not therapy and do not replace mental health treatment.
Julie’s work is guided by respect for clear boundaries, nervous system awareness, and the belief that well-held group experiences can foster insight, creativity, and meaningful connection.
